Prayer for Leaders
God, we are affected by the decisions leaders in our governments make. There are good leaders and bad leaders, but we come before You praying for them all. For the good leaders, we pray that you strengthen them. Give them boldness to stand up against ideas that oppose You. Give them help and support from the people they govern. Give them favor with their peers and counterparts.
For the bad leaders, we pray that You would open their minds and hearts. Help them know Your ways. Give them soft hearts that truly care for the people they are supposed to lead. Convict them in their spirit for any wrong doing they have done. Give them every opportunity to repent and turn towards You Lord. Lord give us peace from oppressive governments so we may worship and serve You freely!
Thank You for first loving us; we love You, Lord.
