Voicesਨਮੂਨਾ

There are voices all around us, constantly speaking into our lives. We read them on social media, hear them in movies and shows, or from our friends or family. People are always telling us what’s “best” and what’s “wrong,” what’s “good for us,” and what we should avoid.
So, how do we know who to listen to? Are people with more followers more trustworthy? Or should we do what feels right to us and ignore everyone else?
Sometimes, it can feel overwhelming to hear so many voices saying different things. Thankfully, we know that God’s voice is one that never lies. He knows what’s best for us because he can see what’s ahead. He knows each of us so deeply, so he already knows what we need before we do. His voice is worth listening to above all others because it is reliable and trustworthy.
The best way to hear his voice is by staying as close to him as possible. Jesus called this “abiding” in God. Jesus told us to abide in him because we can do nothing apart from him. We need to follow the voice of the one who knows us, loves us, and will never let us down.
Challenge: Commit to remaining in God’s presence by completing the Bible Reading Plan this week. Create a journal or note on your phone to write down what God is teaching you!
