Fullness of Hope
Our true hope lies in the promise of eternal life, clothed in our new bodies in Christ’s kingdom. Paul says this is no empty hope. We have the Holy Spirit with us now as the guarantee of what is to come. In his faithfulness, Christ will return and claim his bride.
Even now, as we wade through the troubles and the triumphs of this life, we have much to look forward to in Christ’s coming kingdom. The Holy Spirit is our constant comfort, help, and guide through the twists and turns of our journeys. He is the fullness of God and the presence of his power, and we have fellowship with him now.
Jesus, thank you for the gift of your Spirit to us. Flood me with the pure pleasure of your presence as I look to you today. I want to know you more through fellowship with the Spirit. Pour over me your peace, joy, and loving hope.
Prayer can happen at any time, and of course it does, but there is value in setting aside a specific time to communicate with the Lord. When you prioritize Jesus above everything, other concerns fade. Hope dawns with the new day. Tender mercies fall fresh and you find the strength to walk through each day with grace for others and for yourself. About this Plan

Being alone with God to start the day was an example set by Jesus himself! He got up before daylight to pray in a solitary place. It was his way of connecting with the Father before doing anything else. As you quiet yourself before him and meditate on these devotions and Scriptures from "Jesus First for Women," experience the goodness of his presence and be refreshed with his perfect peace.
