All I Need

With the Lord Jesus as our shepherd, we have everything we need. He takes care of us, watches over us, directs us, and fights our enemies. When we wander astray, he comes to find us. When we are unable to move, he carries us. He is kind, attentive, and strong. He will lead us to refreshing waters, and he will take care of all our earthly needs.

Do you trust Jesus as your Good Shepherd? Do you truly believe he will provide for your needs? Or do you waste away with worry over what tomorrow will bring? Let today be today and fix your eyes on Jesus. He is the giver of life, and he loves you fiercely. He will not let you fall outside of his reach. You can trust him. You can take rest in his care. He has perfect peace to spare, and he will keep you in his perfect love.

Jesus, I want to trust you more than I worry. I want to be confident in your character more than I wonder about what will happen in the future. Guide me with your peace and calm me with your near presence. Help me to stay grateful in this moment and in this day that you have made.
