Today, Bare Tree and Little Wind talk about Easter Sunday.

“The great news is that Jesus didn’t stay dead,” Bare Tree tells her friend. “Three days after He died, Real King came back to life!”

“I heard that!” says Little Wind. “His friends were telling everyone that they saw Him again.”

“They were so surprised!” says Bare Tree. “They had seen Him die, but there He was! They ate bread and fish with Him and talked and touched Him.”

“Jesus beat death?” Little Wind asks.

“Yes! That’s why Easter Sunday is such a happy day!” says Bare Tree.

Dear God, thank You for giving us such good gifts. Thank You for Your son, Jesus, who died on the cross and came back to life. Help us remember all the things Jesus did and celebrate Him on this special day. Amen.
