Purity
It is so important for our hearts to be pure. The purity of our hearts starts with our desires. We can ask Jesus to purify the desires of our hearts. Only He can do it. And believe me, He can, but we need to do our part too. Our part is, first of all, to listen to your hearts, realize what we want, and then to say it out loud (you can confess it to a friend or write it in your journal). Then ask Jesus for His help.
Exercise:
- Write a letter to God about the desires of your heart.
- Read through the letter.
- Write a letter from God to you as a response to your letter.

About this Plan
Lent is where we walk with Jesus for 40 days. We are going to look at the Beatitudes of Jesus. These are sayings from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount. We live in a world filled with uncertainty, fear and anxiety. The beatitudes invite us to live in a new way in this world of ours. Together, we are going to explore new ways to live life.
