Insider - Matthew ਨਮੂਨਾ

Reading: Matthew Chapter 5
Devotional: Isn’t it true that many times words come out of our mouths so easily? Sometimes we use pretty tough words; tougher and even more insulting than “fool”, a word and an attitude Jesus Himself condemns. Other times you only think about them. In any circumstance, all insults are a sin. Maybe it doesn’t come naturally to you to be countercultural, to be different when everybody else is the same. Yet, the power of your example along with the example of all the other friends who believe in Christ, gives a lot more savor to the world and shines so much brighter. The beatitudes Jesus preached about are so much richer and so much more desirable than the consequences of our bad attitudes and heavy words.
Don’t be a fool! Be smart! Choose to forgive, to love, to serve the other so you can be truly happy. Take advantage of true happiness and put the anger aside.
To think about: Make a list of words and attitudes you should stop using or expressing.
