Reading: Matthew Chapter 22

Devotional: If you were to look forward into your future and imagine putting together the wedding guest list, you would write down people who deserve to be there, right? In Jesus’ parable things take a very interesting turn – those who apparently were expected to be at the wedding, turn down the invitation arguing they are too busy to go. How deceiving can appearances be! In other words, those who are super religious are not necessarily also super faithful. Everything starts with fulfilling the first two most important commandments – to love God with all your heart and love those around you like yourself.
