Love God Greatly - 1 & 2 Peterਨਮੂਨਾ

Peter tells Christians to remain proud to be a follower of Christ. It was shameful to experience some of the punishment, ridicule, imprisonment and other degrading actions by the rulers of the government at that time. But, Peter reassures them that judgment is coming. Although Christians experience judgment by ungodly people and through suffering during their earthly, that judgment serves to make the Christian more holy. Peter states that the judgment of the ungodly will be overwhelmingly more devastating. Peter’s encouragement is for Christians to commit their souls to God and continue to do good despite the circumstances.
What suffering are you undergoing right now? God’s promise is that you are not alone. He is with you and will bring you His strength to endure and to continue to do good.
