## DAY 4: RELATIONSHIPS.

Our conviction that a person can satisfy us more than God is the root of relationship idolatry. Many PEOPLE , believers and nonbelievers alike, can identify with the need for a relationship or significant other. Relationships can be viewed as a symbol of our status.
If you are having difficulty getting over a previous relationship and are unable to escape its deep hurt, you may be suffering from relationship idolatry. Perhaps you've been separated for a long time and are no longer in contact with the person, and they're not even a part of your current life. Nonetheless, you are deeply upset by what occurred. A previous relationship might become an idol in and of itself.
