DIG IN! Spend some time continuing to read sequentially through Ecclesiastes, chapters 9 and 10 today. Maybe try reading the passage aloud with a friend. As you read, look for the two statements of an ‘evil’ done or seen under the sun. What implications may these two observations have on our expectations for daily life? Ask Yourself : Have you ever found yourself feeling that life is ‘unfair’ when something did not go the way you expected? Did this impact your relationship or conversation with God in any way? Pause to Pray : Thank God for giving us nuggets of wisdom through the book of Ecclesiastes.
