Praying the Scripture Through LentVoorbeeld

The World
It’s hard to stay unperturbed and unworried nowadays. The news is scary, and it can deplete us of peace and joy very quickly. We must choose to keep our eyes on Jesus and believe that He has a great plan for this world. While things may look dismal on the surface, hope in the eternal will change our perspective for good.
Use these verses to worship and adore Him for who He is, what He’s done, and ask Him to help you live a life that pleases Him and brings Him glory. Read the scriptures as prayers of worship, thanksgiving, and supplication, believing that there is power in every declaration.
John 14:27 NLT
“I am leaving you with a gift—peace of mind and heart. And the peace I give is a gift the world cannot give. So don’t be troubled or afraid.
1 John 2:2 NLT
He himself is the sacrifice that atones for our sins—and not only our sins but the sins of all the world.
1 John 2:16 NLT
For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world.
