In whom do you place your trust? Do you place your trust in people? Or do you place your trust in God? You choose. Trust is a choice. You can choose to place your hope in man or you can place your Hope in Christ. The Amplified Version expounds upon Proverbs‬ ‭29:25‬ ‭AMPC‬‬ in the following manner, “The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever leans on, trusts in, and puts his confidence in the Lord is safe and set on high.” Similarly, the New Living Translation lays out Proverbs‬ ‭29:25‬ ‭NLT‬‬ in the following way, “Fearing people is a dangerous trap, but trusting the Lord means safety.” May you find safely in Christ.
