What do you think of when you hear the word, “missionary”? Maybe you think about going on a missions trip with your youth group or someone that your church supports overseas. While those are amazing examples, it can be easy to assume that being a “missionary” is something only for a few special people. But did you know that if you trust Jesus, you are called to be a missionary?
In fact, the word missionary isn’t found in the Bible. Instead, one of the last conversations we see Jesus have with his disciples is calling them to go to their neighborhoods, cities, and the rest of the world to make more disciples. In other words, be missionaries to others by spreading Jesus' story with everyone you know! You don’t have to go to another country to be a missionary. You can start by passing on the good news to unexpected people in your own neighborhood.
Is there someone you know who might be curious about what you believe?

Over dit leesplan

These days, you see a lot of people using their social media platforms to talk about themselves. But Scripture is filled with stories about "influencers" who made a name for themselves talking about Jesus is and what Jesus came to do. In this 20-day devotional series from Grow Curriculum, we'll be challenged to share the good news of Jesus like the early apostles did.
