Have you played a team sport? What colour was your team’s uniform? 

Imagine you changed teams and had a new uniform. Would you play on your new team while wearing your old team’s uniform colour? No, you leave your old team and its uniform behind. You’re on a new team now. When we choose to follow Jesus we leave our old nature behind, we’re now on team Jesus! On team Jesus, your old nature doesn’t fit you anymore; you’re living a new life. Through God’s Word and the Holy Spirit, we can be transformed in the way we think, how we live and what we do. I am who God says I am and He says I’m a new creation.
