For example, this week’s date, cook a meal together and take it to someone who is under the weather, building generosity into your marriage. Another idea is to volunteer at a soup kitchen and then afterwards go for coffee and discuss how thankful you are for all you have been given. C alendar. Most of us use the calendar for everything in our life. Dentist appointments, oil changes, work schedules, kids’ activities, meetings. The list goes on. We often neglect to schedule dates with our spouse. Make your marriage a priority by putting a date on the calendar.
