Ask Think ImagineVoorbeeld

Jump
Imagine this. You’re in an airplane thirty thousand feet in the air. The pilot looks over and tells you to jump. You ask him what’s wrong with the plane, and he tells you … nothing. You then ask for a parachute. His reply? You don’t need one.
Crazy idea, right? But sometimes that’s precisely what you feel like when you know you need to take a step of faith. It feels like you’ll free fall to an uncertain ending. I get it. That’s where I was a few years ago. I knew I needed to take a step of faith in my life, but it seemed all odds were against me. I was scared.
What if I fail? What if people don’t understand why I’m doing this? What if I get hurt on the way down? What if …
If we keep asking ourselves those questions, we’ll never jump. We will sit safely in our comfort zones and wonder what could’ve been. We’ll never know what might have happened if we walked in obedience, trusting that God will redeem every last piece of our lives for His glory and carry us through to our beautiful, hopeful reward in Heaven with Him.
God has created you for a reason. God can do more than we can ask, think or imagine. God has your future planned out. God has created you for a very specific purpose. What are you waiting for? Are you ready to jump?
