Zeal. Zeal is a funny way of saying enthusiastic! When we read in the Bible that God wants us to be full of zeal for Him, He is saying that He wants us to be enthusiastic for Him! He wants us to live our life as worship to Him! He wants everything we do to point people to Him and His love!
This song is based on a teaching of St. Francis of Assisi which says, "Preach the Gospel at all times, and when necessary, use words." This says to me that we are to live our lives for God in such a way that tells of His love and if we have to explain that further, then we can use our words.
