The Redemptive Rebel
One of the great things about Jesus is the way He completely upended people’s expectations. He talks about being born again; He flips the law back on those who want to wield it as a weapon and shows mercy instead.
Jesus was such a rebel. A redemptive rebel.
As you move closer toward your own redemption, consider the words you read today and focus on how different Jesus acted. His words, His actions, His reactions – they were all so different from the norm at the time. Is it possible that Jesus is the same way today? Have you considered that your redemption might look or feel a little different from your expectations? What if that’s the case; what do you do with that information?
