IN HIM YOU ARE CHOSEN

To begin our Renewing the Mind adventure, there are two powerful truths I want you to focus on in this verse, one at a time over the next two days. For today, we are going to focus on the fact that you are chosen by Him. At times our circumstances, our lives or our jobs can tell us that we are worthless, that we are insignificant. That no one would choose us. We feel like that devastating picture of the boy or girl in the playground last to be chosen to play on a team. But that is simply not what the Bible says. The Bible tells us that we are chosen in Him. When you were chosen? Before the creation of the world. Not after you fasted for 40 days, not after you proved to Him how good you are. But before you were formed, He chose you. Before you were formed, He loved you. Before anything existed, He had you on His mind. You are chosen! Meditate on this today. You are not rejected, you are not left behind, you are not striving to be good enough. Before you existed, He chose you, so there is nothing you can do to make yourself more ‘choose-able’. He loves you and you are chosen in Him!
