Jesus not only believed that God loves sinners, but he also proved it with his actions and words. Rather than associating with influential and reputable people, Jesus hung around with crooked politicians, dishonest businessmen and women of ill repute. When the religious aristocracy condemned him for this practice, Jesus made it clear that his actions, not theirs, revealed the heart of God. As an effective leader, the Lord consistently demonstrated the truth that he proclaimed.
