Ancora Kids Learn From JoshuaVoorbeeld

Get into it
When was the last time you had to get used to something new – a new teacher, new house or even new shoes? Something new is ahead for a man named Joshua. Let’s find out more.
Read Joshua, chapter 1, verses 1 to 9 if you haven’t already done so.
How do you think Joshua would have felt, taking over from Moses who had led God’s people out of Egypt?
What does God say to Joshua?
Can you find two things that God told him NOT to be? (Have a look at verse 9, if you’re not sure.)
Just like Joshua, there are times we may feel a bit scared by what lies ahead. But, just like Joshua, we need not be afraid or discouraged because God is with us.
Pray. Take time today to ask God to be with you in the situations that lie ahead and to help you face them with courage.
