Matthew 25 comes after Matthew 24. Now I know that may be obvious—but it’s also important. For one, it’s a reminder that context is key. Jesus just gave a detailed prophecy of the end times. So 25 is a follow-up with parables to help us understand end times. Also, it’s a reminder to pay attention to the sequence of events and be ready for what comes next.
