Ga dichter naar God toe, dan komt God dichter bij u. Was uw handen, zondaars, u die op twee gedachten hinkt, laat uw hart zuiver voor God zijn. Beklaag uzelf, huil en jammer van ellende. Het lachen moet u vergaan, uw blijdschap moet omslaan in verdriet. Als u beseft dat u klein bent voor de Here, zal Hij u verheffen.
