Dit betekent dat Jezus, de Zoon van God, onze grote hogepriester is, die naar de hemel is gegaan om ons te helpen. Daarom moeten wij geen ogenblik aan Hem twijfelen. Deze hogepriester begrijpt onze zwakheden, omdat Hij dezelfde verleidingen heeft gekend als wij, maar Hij heeft er geen ogenblik aan toegegeven, Hij heeft nooit gezondigd. Laten wij daarom vrijmoedig naar de troon van God gaan om van Hem genade te ontvangen, om hulp te krijgen, juist in die ogenblikken dat wij het moeilijk hebben.
