Let’s be honest: we know it’s a good idea to read the Bible, but it’s pretty difficult to even know where to start. Over the next four days, we’ll learn about why the Bible’s important, how to start a daily reading habit, and how it applies to our lives today.

Every good story has a plot twist—an unexpected moment that changes everything. One of the biggest plot twists in the Bible is the Christmas story. Over the next five days, we’ll explore how this one event changed the world and how it can change your life today.

Een aantal principes zijn van uitzonderlijk belang wanneer je als christen een organisatie leidt. In dit leesplan krijg je een aantal van die principes voorgeschoteld waar je direct hands-on mee aan de slag kunt in je eigen organisatie. Denk hierbij aan: eeuwig karakter, gelijkwaardigheid, naastenliefde, lange lijnen en rust.

Dit leesplan biedt tijdens Advent elke dag een korte overdenking bij het thema ‘Aan tafel!’, het jaarthema van de Protestantse Kerk in Nederland. We lezen bijbelgedeelten die laten zien hoe God ons in de Bijbel door maaltijden nabij komt. Hij nodigt ons ook nu uit om elke dag dicht bij Hem te leven en deel uit te maken van de gemeenschap die Hem volgt.
