Freedom Is for Love, Not License

Freedom doesn’t mean chaos—it means calling. Paul tells the Galatians they’ve been set free, but not to indulge themselves. Freedom, in the gospel, always leads to love. When we think of Christian liberty as license, we miss the whole point.

Freedom isn’t for selfish gain—it’s for sacrificial service. We’re called to use our liberty to become conduits of grace to others. The law is summed up in one word: love. Not a soft, self-serving love—but a holy, active love that puts others first.

Are you using your freedom to serve? Or are you still asking what you can get away with? God’s grace doesn’t just set you free from sin—it empowers you to love with His heart.
