What Would God Eat? Do you ever wonder what God would eat if he would be physically here on earth today? I know I do! I believe He gives us a few clues in the story of Creation. In Genesis 1, God says to, “Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb that yields seed, and the fruit tree that produces fruit according to its kind, whose seed is in itself, on the earth. Later it says that after this became so, God saw that it was good! All of the foods God created are meant to be good and promote well-being, which includes produce (vegetables and fruit) and protein sources (cattle). Use His wisdom when choosing food to eat. The recommendations found in Leviticus 11 and 12 promote life. They are not there to punish you, but to save you from having “body breakdown.” Paul shared a profound statement in 1 Corinthians 6:12, “All things are lawful for me, but all things are not helpful.” Please meditate on that statement before going grocery shopping or eating out.
