Jika seorang daripada kamu hendak membina sebuah menara, dia akan duduk dahulu lalu mengira perbelanjaannya, supaya dia tahu sama ada wangnya cukup untuk menyudahkan pekerjaan itu. Jika tidak, setelah meletakkan batu asasnya dia tidak dapat menyudahkan pekerjaan itu. Lalu semua orang yang melihat apa yang telah berlaku akan mentertawakan dia. Mereka akan berkata, ‘Lihatlah, orang ini memulakan kerja tetapi tidak dapat menyudahkannya!’
