Kutoka 3:12

The Lord is alive and active today, and He speaks to each of His children directly. But sometimes, it can be difficult to see and hear Him. By exploring the story of one man’s journey toward understanding the voice of God in the slums of Nairobi, you will learn what it looks like to hear and follow Him.

People often say, “Give God your burdens.” Do you ever wonder: How do I do that? The brokenness of the world feels too heavy. And as much as you desire to shine the light of Jesus, you wonder what that looks like when you struggle to see the light yourself. This devotional looks at how we can be lights for Jesus even when our own world feels dark.

What is God like? It’s a big question but an important one. What we understand about God will determine how we relate to Him. The more we know about God, the better our relationship will be. God reveals who He is throughout the Bible. Every name for God tells us something about Him. Reflect on God’s character for the next 21 days and see how your love for Him grows.

For some, Christmas is a time of joy and celebration. For others, it’s a painful reminder of what has been lost. No matter what you’re experiencing this holiday season, Christmas is an opportunity to focus on the source of our hope. We invite you to join the North Point staff for the next 25 days as we come together to experience the magic of Christmas. Join the conversation using #NPDevo.
