Ya TUHAN, Engkau telah menelitiku dan mengenalku. Engkau mengenal dudukku dan berdiriku; Engkau memahami fikiranku dari jauh. Engkau meneliti jalanku dan baringku; serta mengerti semua caraku. Sebelum ada sepatah kata di lidahku, ya TUHAN, Engkau telah mengetahui seluruhnya. Engkau telah merangkulku — di belakang dan di hadapan; dan meletakkan tangan-Mu ke atasku. Pengetahuan demikian terlalu menakjubkan bagiku, tingginya tidak tercapai olehku. Ke mana dapat aku pergi daripada Roh-Mu? Atau ke mana dapat aku lari dari hadirat-Mu? Jika aku naik ke syurga, Engkau di sana; jika aku membuat tempat tidurku di neraka, lihatlah, Engkau di sana. Jika kuambil sayap pagi, dan tinggal di bahagian laut yang paling dalam, di sana pun tangan-Mu akan memimpinku, tangan kanan-Mu akan memegangku.
