Inilah tanda untukmu bahawa Aku yang mengutus kamu: Apabila kamu telah membawa orang Israel keluar dari Mesir, kamu akan beribadat kepada Allah di gunung ini.” Kata Musa kepada Allah, “Tetapi apabila hamba mendatangi orang Israel dan berkata kepada mereka, ‘Allah nenek moyangmu mengutus aku kepadamu,’ mereka akan bertanya, ‘Siapakah nama-Nya?’ Apakah yang harus hamba katakan kepada mereka?” Firman Allah kepada Musa, “Akulah AKU.” Firman-Nya lagi, “Kamu harus berkata begini kepada orang Israel, ‘Akulah AKU yang mengutus aku kepadamu.’ ” Allah selanjutnya berfirman kepada Musa, “Kamu harus katakan begini kepada orang Israel, ‘TUHAN, Allah nenek moyangmu, Allah Abraham, Allah Ishak, dan Allah Yakub, telah mengutus aku kepadamu.’ Itulah nama-Ku untuk selama-lamanya dan dengan nama itulah Aku diseru turun-temurun.
