Namun Allah, yang kaya dengan belas kasihan, kerana kasih-Nya yang amat besar kepada kita, walaupun ketika kita telah mati disebabkan kesalahan kita, telah menghidupkan kita bersama Kristus — kamu telah diselamatkan dengan kasih kurnia-Nya. Allah telah membangkitkan kita bersama Kristus Yesus, serta mendudukkan kita bersama-Nya di syurga, supaya pada zaman-zaman akan datang Allah dapat menunjukkan limpah kekayaan kasih kurnia-Nya dalam belas ihsan-Nya kepada kita dalam Kristus Yesus. Kamu telah diselamatkan dengan kasih kurnia-Nya melalui iman — ini bukan daripada kamu sendiri tetapi adalah kurnia Allah — bukan kerana usaha amalmu supaya tiada seorang pun yang dapat bermegah. Kerana kita ini buatan-Nya, dicipta dalam Kristus Yesus untuk melakukan perbuatan baik, yang telah disediakan terdahulu oleh Allah untuk kita lakukan.
