Let’s break down today's scripture.

They gave themselves first to the Lord. They knew that as followers of Jesus, we are to give ourselves over to Him. Whatever resource we have was given to us by God, so we are to give back to Him what is His and make it available for His use.

“And then by the will of God, also to us.” They surrendered their lives to Jesus, and not only did He bless them with various resources, but He also used them to bless others! Notice that to do this, they first made themselves available to God and sought His will for them and their resources.

Your best resource could be anything. Maybe it is money… or maybe it’s friendship or hospitality. God created you specifically to be you. He has given you gifts and abilities; you get to pay it forward. I
encourage you to seek the Lord’s heart for you in giving.
