May 9 – The Scripture as Light and Guidance

The Scripture serves as light, providing direction and clarity in life. In a world filled with uncertainty and competing voices, the Word of God reveals the right path. It illuminates what is hidden and guides decisions with precision.

This matters because life requires direction. Without guidance, people rely on instinct, emotion, or external pressure. The Word of God provides a stable and reliable source of direction that leads to wisdom and sound decisions.

When the Scripture is not used as light, people walk in confusion. Decisions become inconsistent, and mistakes increase. Without the guidance of God’s Word, even sincere efforts can lead in the wrong direction.

DAILY EXERCISE
Identify a decision you need to make. Search for at least one Scripture that speaks to it and write down the guidance you receive.

PRAYER
Father, let Your Word guide me in every decision. Illuminate my path and give me clarity. I pray for leaders, students, families, and believers across Nigeria that they will be directed by Your Word and not by confusion. Lord, we ask that Your light shine across nations. Guide the Church worldwide and lead people into truth and clarity.

CONFESSION
God’s Word is my light. I walk in clarity and divine direction daily.
