May 21 – The Word and Faith
Faith is produced and sustained by the Word of God. It is not generated by emotion or desire but by consistent exposure to Scripture. The Word reveals God’s promises and builds confidence in Him.
This matters because faith is essential for living the Christian life. Without faith, it is impossible to please God. The Word serves as the foundation upon which faith is built and strengthened.
When the Word is absent, faith weakens, doubt increases, and confidence in God declines. A believer who neglects the Scriptures will struggle to walk in faith.
DAILY EXERCISE
Read the anchor scriptures and write down one promise of God and meditate on it to strengthen your Faith.
PRAYER
Father, strengthen my faith through Your Word. Help me to trust in Your promises. I pray for believers, students, families, and leaders across Nigeria that their faith will grow through Scripture. Lord, we ask that across nations, faith will rise as Your Word is heard. Strengthen the Church worldwide to live by faith.
CONFESSION
My faith is built on God’s Word. I trust His promises and walk in confidence.
