Making Much Progress Through Persistent Prayer
You have journeyed consistently through this plan, staying with the Word and building your faith and prayer life day by day. As we wrap it up here, I want you to remember everything the Spirit has been teaching: men ought always to pray and not lose heart. This is not the time to slow down or become passive. It is the time to be deliberate about the changes you want to see, to lock in, to refuse discouragement, and to stay persistent until the outflow of God’s power is visible in your life. You will not quit, and you will not be defeated.
Persistent prayer is not mere repetition; it is faith that refuses to quit. Many believers give up too soon. They say, “Whatever will be, will be,” but that is not faith. Faith holds on, faith stays engaged and faith keeps coming.
The widow kept coming. The friend at midnight kept knocking. Neither accepted delay as denial. Jesus said that God will bring justice to His elect who cry to Him day and night. If an unjust judge could be moved by persistence, how much more your Father who delights to answer?
Progress in life comes through persistence in prayer. Every breakthrough story in Scripture was carried by men and women who refused to faint. Abraham waiting, Elijah praying, Daniel standing, and even Jesus Himself persevering in the place of prayer. The more you persist, the more progress you make.
God delights to bless you. It is His good pleasure to give you the kingdom. He wants you advancing, growing, and moving forward, but you must keep pressing, keep thanking, keep declaring, and keep praying until the manifestation aligns with what God has already set in motion.
By persistence, we make much progress, by consistency, we break resistance and by endurance, we walk into results.
Stay with it. Heaven responds to the believer who refuses to let go.
Reflection:
Where do I need to apply persistence again instead of giving up?
Prayer:
Father, I thank You that it is Your pleasure to give me the kingdom. I refuse to lose heart. By persistence and prayer, I make much progress. I declare that my life, my family, and my destiny are advancing by the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
