Making Much Progress Through Persistent Prayersಮಾದರಿ

The Invisible Progress of Prayer
Jesus spoke to a fig tree, walked away, and nothing apparently changed. But by the next day, the disciples saw it withered from the roots. The answer was released the very moment the words were spoken. The withering began underground.
Likewise, when you pray, answers begin from the roots. The unseen processes of God take motion long before visible signs appear. Faith does not wait for evidence; faith knows that spiritual construction starts immediately. The realm of the Spirit moves the moment you pray, even if the natural world looks unchanged.
There are times when you pray about something, and it looks as though nothing shifted. But God is already working behind the scenes. The answer may not show up on the surface at first, just like the fig tree. The roots respond before the leaves do. Progress begins where your eyes cannot see.
Years ago, a couple agreed in prayer concerning their dream home. Much later, they discovered that the house’s foundation had been laid on the very same day they prayed. If they had quit in the tenth year, would God have failed? No. The answer was already on the way. Heaven had moved from day one.
Many believers give up at the midpoint. They judge results by sight and abandon prayers that are already producing unseen progress. But your Father works from the roots. He sets things in motion before you ever see them. Do not uproot what God is still growing.
This is why Jesus taught us that men ought always to pray and not lose heart. Losing heart disconnects you from answers already moving toward you. The enemy wants you to faint because he knows the answer is closer than it appears.
Stay thankful. Keep confessing. Hold your ground in faith. Celebrate the power that was released when you prayed. Give God time to reveal in the open what He has already completed in the unseen. The roots are working, the process has begun, and your answer is on the way.
Reflection:
Could my impatience be aborting prayers whose roots are already working?
Prayer:
Lord, I thank You because every prayer I pray sets spiritual construction in motion. I choose to trust what You are doing beneath the surface. I will not give up; I will keep watering my seed with thanksgiving until manifestation appears. Amen.
