Words Have Powerಮಾದರಿ

Jesus Spoke Words of Life
John 1:14 (NKJV) says, “And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.”
Throughout the Gospels, we see that Jesus always spoke words of life.
- He healed with words (“Be healed!”).
- He forgave with words (“Your sins are forgiven.”).
- He cast out demons with words (“Come out!”).
- He resisted temptation with words (“It is written…”).
- He calmed storms with words (“Peace, be still!”).
- He raised the dead with words (“Lazarus, come out!”).
He Himself said: “It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life.” (John 6:63 - NKJV).
That same principle applies to us. Words are never neutral. They either carry faith and life, or fear and death.
Mark 11:23 (NKJV) underscores this: “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.”
Faith is the key to receiving all of God’s promises for us, but our words either activate or deactivate our faith. Faith has a voice—and you must give it expression with your mouth.
Isaiah 55:11 (NKJV) shows what happens when God’s Word is spoken: “So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.”
When you proclaim His Word in faith, it carries the same power as if Jesus Himself were speaking it.
So be careful what you say. When you receive bad news, don’t repeat it—counter it with God’s Word just as Jesus did. When people told Jairus his daughter had died, Jesus immediately responded, “Do not be afraid; only believe.” (Mark 5:36 - NKJV).
A life of faith is a life of power and victory—but it begins with the words you speak!
  Reflection:
How can you practically and more frequently speak God’s promises out loud in your everyday life?
