Thrive by being diligent in your work.

If I asked you whether you want to be successful in what you are doing, you would say yes. But have you asked yourself why and how to even get to where you are dreaming of getting to? In my opinion, the swift advancement of many things in this world has created a level of impatience among many people. So, some prioritize quick ways to get money or high levels of influence without submitting to the organic process of God’s way of upliftment. But that method of using evil schemes to achieve quick success has proven unhealthy. The scripture says in Proverbs 22:29 (NKJV) that,

[29] “Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.”

See that! Excelling or thriving in your work attracts kings (prominent people) to you without you having to pay any bribe to anyone to see you. That is how you succeed—focus on the work. Work whether times are good or bad. With time, your work will speak for you, and God will make people recommend you to others. And to encourage the entrepreneur who is having difficulty running their business. Proverbs 12:11 (NKJV) says,

[11] “He who tills his land will be satisfied with bread, but he who follows frivolity is devoid of understanding.” — Proverbs 12:11 (NKJV)

My emphasis is on the phrase “till his land”. When you buy land freshly, there is nothing on it. Right? But as you till it and use it for whatever you want — whether farming or building — it becomes profitable over time. In business, whatever you do won’t just take off to become successful right from day one, unless you have something else already built up to push your new company into the market. Everything takes time to build. So, work and give yourself time. Your idea will succeed if you stick to it and work on it consistently over time. God is with you, so don’t give up on yourself.
