BYOML - Redeemed 9 Day Devotionalಮಾದರಿ

Day Three: Higher Praise
Higher praise is more than just singing loudly, it’s trusting God even when the walls around us seem impossible to overcome. In Joshua, the Israelites shouted and the walls of Jericho fell. In Acts, Paul and Silas praised in the middle of a dark prison, and God shook the foundations to set them free. These stories show us that praise invites God’s power into situations that feel too big or too impossible.
Higher praise calls us to look beyond what we can see or feel. It’s choosing worship when fear or doubt tries to take over, choosing trust when the situation seems hopeless, and choosing joy even in the middle of hardship. It’s not about pretending everything is fine, it’s about remembering who is on the throne and letting that change how we respond.
Today we can take our praise higher. If frustration or fear shows up, we can lift our voices instead of our worries. If it feels like nothing is moving, we can sing or speak God’s truth over the situation. Today you can choose to let your praise rise above the walls around you, trusting that God is at work and nothing is too big for Him!
Prayer
God, today I want to lift my praise higher. Help me to trust You even when things feel impossible. Remind me to worship in the middle of challenges, to speak Your truth over every situation, and to let my joy and faith rise above fear. Shake the foundations in my life where I need freedom, and let Your power move today. Amen.
