AWAKEN TO THE BLOOD OF JESUS

Luke 9:32 tells us that Peter and the disciples became “fully awake” and saw Jesus in His glory. That is what happens when we awaken to the power of Jesus' blood: we see Him clearly and come fully alive.

From the beginning of creation to the end of Scripture, there runs a scarlet thread: the blood. Leviticus 17:11 reminds us, “The life of the flesh is in the blood.” Just as physical blood sustains our bodies, the blood of Jesus sustains our spiritual lives.

WHY THE BLOOD STILL MATTERS

Without the blood, there is no forgiveness (Hebrews 9:22). Without it, there is no redemption, no justification, no peace with God. But through it, everything changes:

• We are forgiven (Matthew 26:28)
• We are redeemed (Ephesians 1:7)
• We are made right (Romans 5:9)
• We have access to God’s presence (Hebrews 10:19)
• We overcome (Revelation 12:11)

The blood is not a concept to be studied but a reality to be received. It means we do not have to strive to be “good enough” on our own. The cross has already finished the work.

THE BLOOD SPEAKS A BETTER WORD

Scripture shows us two voices that rise from the earth:

• Abel’s blood cries out for justice, vengeance, and condemnation (Genesis 4:10).
• Jesus’ blood speaks forgiveness, mercy, and reconciliation (Hebrews 12:24).

Every day we are surrounded by voices of guilt, shame, and fear. But the blood of Jesus speaks louder. It declares that we are clean, free, and His.

LIVING AWAKENED TO THE BLOOD

To awaken to the blood is to live in constant awareness of what it has secured for us: forgiveness, freedom, and victory. We no longer live under condemnation, but under grace. We no longer fight for acceptance, but from acceptance.

When the world shouts shame, the blood declares, “You are Mine.”

Remember: We have been made clean in his blood. We have been claimed. We are His.
