Challenging the Status Quo requires courage and conviction to defy prevailing opinions or trends. Jesus did just that, defying expectations and transforming lives.

The unidentified woman in the passage with triple barriers (a woman, labeled as sinful, and broke societal norms by publicly touching Jesus), a prominent rabbi, and displaying affection towards him. This act was objectionable to Simon, a Pharisee who hosted Jesus for dinner. He questioned Jesus' credibility as a prophet for allowing the woman to touch him. His reaction exemplifies the societal norms: outrage, objection, and potential consequences of stoning. However, Jesus' response was revolutionary: with radical compassion, forgiveness, and restoration challenging societal norms, and embracing radical love.

Prayer: Lord, forgive my insensitivity. Help me be kind, compassionate, and bold in extending hope and security to those marginalized. May I see people through Your eyes, offering love, forgiveness, and restoration. Amen.
