Impulses for the Way: 30 Days on the Camino De Santiagoಮಾದರಿ

Yo Soy El Camino
Come before God today and open your hands as you release to him any tension or burden you are carrying. Invite him to speak to you.
Barrett notes that outside of Jesus, we can’t and won’t find what will truly satisfy our thirsty souls — the life and truth that come from God. Take a moment to reflect: Where have I been tempted to find life lately? What is my soul thirsty for?
Pause and slowly read the verses below. They may be familiar to you, but ask the Spirit to make them wash over you anew:
“Jesus answered, ‘I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him’” (John 14:6-7, NIV).
Ask: What words stand out to me? God, what are you inviting me to see or do?
Slowly reread the passage and respond to Jesus’ words in prayer.
“Pilgrim on this journey,
May Christ who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life
Be your companion;
May you follow his way to life,
And reach the reward of everlasting joy.”
