Scripture is God-breathed and true. When we memorise it, we carry the Word of God with us wherever we go. Over the course of this study, we will be memorising a scripture from Luke & Acts. Today we are memorising Acts 1:8 (NIV).
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.
Remember, it may help to read it aloud several times, breaking it down into smaller chunks. Write it down and carry it with you, repeating it throughout the day. Incorporate the verse into your prayers, letting it resonate in your spirit.

Luke and Acts are two parts of one story, written by Luke to show how Jesus began His work and how it continued through the early Church. Luke tells of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection, while Acts follows the Spirit-empowered mission of His followers. Together, they reveal God’s plan to bring salvation to all people. As you read, expect to encounter Jesus and be inspired to live boldly for His Kingdom.
