Day 6 – Living Victorious

As a daughter of God, you are called to live in victory, not defeat. Too often on the journey to growing your family, you may feel overwhelmed by your struggles, defining yourself by your circumstances, and/or partnering up with a victim mindset. Whether it's the challenges of life or the emotional toll of fertility and motherhood struggles, it’s easy to feel like you're constantly fighting an uphill battle. But the truth is, Jesus has already won the victory for you.

Living as a victim means focusing on defeat, feeling helpless, and being defined by your circumstances. Victims walk in offense, unforgiveness, and a lack of hope, constantly blaming others or the world for their difficulties. On the other hand, living as a victor means knowing your authority in Christ. It’s walking in faith, freedom, and forgiveness, grounded in the truth of God's promises. A victor stands firm in God's Word, confident that the battle has already been won through Jesus.

1 Corinthians 15:57 reminds you, "But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." This victory is not something you earn or strive for; it’s a gift given to you because of Jesus’ sacrifice. Romans 8:37 echoes this truth: "Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us." Through Jesus, you are more than a conqueror—you are victorious!

Choosing to live as a victor doesn’t mean you won’t face struggles, but it means you choose to view those struggles through the lens of victory. Even when life feels hard, your identity as God's daughter empowers you to rise above your circumstances. You are not defined by what you face; you are defined by what Christ has done for you.

So today, choose to live as a victor. Choose to see your circumstances as opportunities to walk in faith, confidence, and hope. When you embrace your identity as a daughter of the King, you can rest in the victory Jesus has already secured for you.

Activation:
Take a moment today to identify areas in your life where you may have been living with a victim mentality. In prayer, surrender these areas to God and choose to step into victory, declaring God's truth over your circumstances.
