Praying From Paul's Lettersಮಾದರಿ

Jesus Christ Will Return as Judge
"When the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven with his mighty angels in flaming fire, inflicting vengeance on those who do not know God and on those who do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus." (2 Thessalonians 1:7–8, ESV)
Prayer
Lord Jesus, we exalt Your great name! You are Savior, King, and Judge. Just as every prophecy of Your first coming was fulfilled, so will every prophecy of Your second coming be fulfilled. For You spoke and it came to be. Your Word is final.
Heavenly Father, keep us abiding in You and marveling at Your righteousness and mercy. Let the name of Jesus Christ be glorified and magnified through our lives. Purify us by the power of Your indwelling Holy Spirit, that we may be found worthy of our King when He returns to judge the living and the dead.
Holy Spirit, give us discernment in these evil and dark times. Help us to not be deceived by any false teacher or anyone who exalts their word over Your Word, the Bible.
Set divine appointments for us to tell others about the gospel of Jesus Christ, for the hour is late. He can save to the uttermost.
May we rest in the truth of Your Word and the power of Your name, Jesus Christ. You provided us with these end-times prophecies, so we would be prepared, not scared. We are sheltered under the saving power of Jesus Christ. We are cleansed by His blood and held in His faithful hands—now and forever. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
