Praying From Paul's Lettersಮಾದರಿ

Jesus Christ Saves Sinners
"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 6:23, ESV)
Prayer
Heavenly Father, we sing praises to Your name! Your glory, Your holiness, Your purity, and Your truth shine into the darkness of our sinful, selfish hearts with a piercing and penetrating light. We acknowledge that we are sinners desperately in need of a Savior.
Thank You, precious Jesus, for while our backs were turned to You, You were pouring out Your blood on the cross for us.
To cover us with your mercy and grace.
To wrap us in Your robe of righteousness.
Now our sins are canceled forever by Your sacrificial blood.
Taking our place.
Taking our penalty.
Exchanging it all for your holiness and grace.
Thank You for this incredible gift. We confess that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead. By faith in Your finished work on the cross, we are saved.
We cannot earn it. We do not deserve it. There is nothing we can do to repay You. It is the grace and mercy of heaven, pouring down like a river upon us.
There is only one condition: All we must do is confess and believe. We are saved by grace through faith.
As our hearts overflow with gratitude, we pray to live a life worthy of Your name. Holy Spirit, empower us to follow Christ and His Word.
May our hearts burst with joy, for we are saved! We are free! We are made new in Christ forever! In Jesus’ name, Amen.
