Psalm 63: Why Are You Thirsty?

Every human being, even the most irreligious person, is spiritually thirsty. God wired that thirst inside of us to drive us to him. Many of the things that we anxiously or frenetically pursue, we pursue because we are trying our best to satisfy that thirst. Whether it’s relationships, possessions, success, power, control, money, or sex, the things of earth don’t have the power to quench your thirst. If you desire satisfaction, run to God.
