Psalm 78: Telling Secrets to Your Children

Psalm 78 puts the question before us, “What is the essence, what is the epicenter of the job of parenting?” Far more than giving your kids an excellent vacation or getting them to obey certain behaviors, parenting is about getting your children to grasp the fact of facts: the existence and character of God. Tell your children of his power. Tell your children of his glory. Tell your children of his goodness and grace. That’s your job as a parent.
